the osceola county rodeo has been celebrated in the schools forever! the kids rode a horse,went on a hayride, had fun barrel racing and square danced...yeehaw!

sunday at the beach

the old city

we went up to st augustine last sunday and had a blast.we toured the castillo de san marcos first and watched a cannonball launch. then we headed to the old jail which the kids really enjoyed...they actually got locked up in a cell..HA! the fountain of youth was next on our list and we tried some water from the spring but i have to tell you i don't feel younger...! maybe it takes a few weeks? we ended our day walking down st. george st. the main tourist shopping area.we didn't get to everything so i guess we need to plan a second excursion!

I really recommend a visit here if your headed to the sunshine state.it's very affordable and most attractions offer free admission for kids under 6. best of all its a history lesson for a week.forget those books and live it.you'll be amazed!

alex can't believe another year has gone by. what an awesome girl you are becoming. wonderful in school,athletics and dance. you have changed into a mature,caring,loving and responsible person,daddy and i are honored to be your parents. we've had the best 8 years just having you! we love you baby!

alex had a low key birthday this year,but had a lot of fun starting with her birthday celebration in school and then dinner at cracker barrel (her fav)! we got home and invited our neighbors over for cake! she opened her gifts and rocked the night away! happy birthday love!
