Holidays In Florida!

Tonight Carlos and I took the kids to Celebration,a wonderful little town! The holidays are always a joy there. Of course there was the snow falling from the lamp posts and Christmas music playing. Even Santa made his appearance! The ice skating rink was a big hit as was the train and carriage rides. It was a cold evening so that set the mood perfectly. The kids had a blast and now want to go every night! I just wish it wasn't so crowded. At least the kids got a taste of up north! Trying to catch the snow!

Roller Derby

I love when the kids are actually playing together...LOL! Right after school it was roller skating.
As you can see Christopher has on Alex's old skates.Maybe Santa will buy him some BOY ones as he says! It was quite funny to see them fall down a couple of times. No one cried though!!!

Fall soccer as ended

Another season gone already! I will sure miss it. Alex did a fantastic job and Christopher....well let's just say tennis lessons will be starting LOL! He gave it his best shot,I just think contact sports are not his thing! Alex is more aggressive and tends to be very athletic. She can not wait to start cheering in two weeks! Anyhow they both recieved trophies and had a great experience!

Alex's 1st grade show!

Alex's class had a showcase of their projects and sang for us parents. They were so cute as they sang Patrotic hyms!We really enjoyed it as it's something new to the school this year!

The panda project!

Class Trip

Alex's first grade class went to Green Meadows Farm last week and what a blast! I always love going in October being that it is the pumpkin patch season. The farm is such a great place as it is like the biggest petting zoo you've ever seen.I personally love the hayride and the train myself. Anyhow the kids all had a great time together and a wonderful learning experience. Can't wait to do it again next year!

A Day at the Farm

Sunday afternoon we traveled down to Bradenton to attend the annual pumpkin fest.I must say I felt like I was in NJ! There was scarecrow displays, produce, hayrides and a corn maze. The weather was 70 so it was a perfect day! We ate so much fair food I couldn't fit into my pants this morning!!!!! The kids got huge pumpkins which we will be carving this week. The one mishap was I forgot to charge up my camera battery and only got 6 shots....oops!
